Workers’ occupational health and programs to prevent environmental risks are a priority in our company, and therefore it maintains CIPA (Internal Accident Prevent Commission) and a Fire Brigade in active operation, in addition to the following programs:
PPRA – Environmental Risk Prevention Program
It anticipates, recognizes, prevents, evaluates and control environmental risks (physical, chemical and biological).
It is PPRA that identifies any risks existing in work places, which, because of their nature, concentration, intensity or exposing time are likely to cause damages to workers’ health.
Control is made by noise, lighting and temperature monitoring and specification of individual and collective protection equipment.
At admission time, Resibras provides the new employees with training in occupational safety and individual protection equipment, such as ear protectors, glasses, gloves, boots, and others.
PCMSO – Medical Control and Occupational Health Program
This program is designed for early prevention, tracking and early diagnosis of work-related damages to health.
PCMSO includes admission, periodical, work return, reassignment, dismissal, parasitological, visual acuity and blood platelet count examinations.
PCA – Hearing Preservation Program
It aims to proactively eliminate or minimize risks and damages to workers’ hearing.
PCA includes admission, periodical and dismissal examinations.
SESMT – Specialize Occupational Safety and Medicine Engineering Service – is responsible for the development and maintenance of programs related to workers’ occupational safety and health, based on Hygiene, Safety and Medicine Policy.
