Resibras is certified by SGS do Brasil in HACCP CODEX ALIMENTARIUS System, some benefits of which include consumer’s health assurance, credibility to the market and to relevant authorities, cost reduction, as funds concentrate on main problem sources and related preventive actions.
In March 2002, Resibras – Food Division – Fortaleza Plant - CE was the first company in cashew nut industry awarded HACCP certification by BVQI – Bureau Veritas Quality International, with International RvA Accreditation – Raad voor Accreditatie, based in criteria for evaluation of HACCP Operational System compiled by the Dutch National Board of Experts in HACCP.
The scope of that certification is “Production and Commercialization of Raw, Dry Roasted and Oil Roasted Cashew Nut Kernels”.
In March 2005, Resibras – Food Division – Forquilha Plant – CE was included in HACCP System certification by BVQI - Bureau Veritas Quality International, with International RvA Accreditation – Raad voor Accreditatie, at the new revision of Dutch standard “Requirements for a HACCP FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM compiled by NATIONAL BOARD OF EXPERTS in HACCP of the Netherlands.”
In December 2008, Resibras – Food Division, underwent another certification audit in both Fortaleza and Forquilha plants under HACCP System by SGS ICS Certificadora LTDA, based on HACCP CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, annex CAC/RCP-1-1969, revision 4 (2003),with the scope of “Production and Commercialization of Raw, Dry Roasted and Oil Roasted Cashew Nut Kernels”.
